Production Operative

Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
Duration: Temp ongoing
Payrate: £12.90ph

We’re on the lookout for a Production operative to join a fast-paced Production team in Loughborough. This hands-on role is vital to the smooth running of printing machines and overall operational efficiency. You'll work alongside the Print team to support quick changeovers, maintain equipment, and ensure top-quality print results.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing print cylinders/screens for upcoming jobs
Cleaning and maintaining screens, cylinders, doctor blades, carts, and squeegees
Supporting waste management and clean-down operations
Assisting with ink and design changeovers
Handling and transporting materials across departments
Recording data accurately for production tracking
Ensuring all work meets quality and health & safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Physically fit and able to lift and move moderate loads
Comfortable using mechanical handling equipment
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A good understanding of manufacturing processes
Able to work well independently and as part of a team

Qualifications & Training (Preferred but not essential)

IOSH Working Safely
BIT Level 2
IPAF Trained
