Production Operative

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operative with Counterbalance FLT to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machinery to ensure efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will also play a key role in keeping the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, organized and operating smoothly at all times.

Hours to start on days but will go to rotating shifts 6-2pm/2-6pm Monday to Friday

Ongoing role/ Temp to perm

Salary £13.50

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machines, ensuring correct tooling, fixtures, and materials are used according to production specifications.
• Work closely with quality control teams to ensure all products meet required specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine issues or process-related problems.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including safe handling of materials and machinery.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, or in a similar technical role.
• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
