Production Operative

We’re working with a market-leading UK manufacturer of coatings, adhesives, binders. Due to continued business growth, they’re looking to expand their busy production team with a new Production Operator, starting on a temp-to-perm basis, with strong potential for a permanent role after three months.
No prior experience is required, just a great work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and mixing chemicals in a safe, controlled environment
• Decanting and packaging products ready for dispatch
• Operating a forklift truck as part of the daily workflow
• Completing paperwork accurately to maintain safety and compliance records
• Keeping your workspace clean, safe, and in line with Health & Safety standards

Key Skills & Experience :

• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow clear instructions and work with accuracy under pressure
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
• Forklift Truck Licence (essential)

Additional Information:

• £26,000 starting salary, rising to £28,000 after probation
• 38-hour working week (Monday–Friday, no shifts)
• 24 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
• Temp-to-perm opportunity in a stable, growing company
