Production Operative

My client is looking for Production Operatives to join their busy factory team. The role involves working with very small, delicate components, so experience with sewing machines or garment manufacturing would be a big advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture PTFE billets, components, and products using processes such as compression moulding, isostatic moulding, and sintering
• Work to detailed manufacturing instructions and job records with a high degree of accuracy
• Consistently meet production targets for output, quality, and safety
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, adhering to Good Documentation Practices
• Accurately complete all necessary production paperwork
• Proactively report any issues to the Moulding Team Leader
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety policies, including correct use of PPE
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in line with the company’s Quality Manual

Other information:

• Starting Pay: £12.21 per hour
• Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:50am-4:50pm, Friday: 7:50am-1:50pm (40-hour week)
• Contract Type: Temp to Perm - with the aim of offering permanent roles to successful candidates after the trial period
• Full Training Provided: no previous factory experience required if you’re willing to learn (experience in garment production or sewing machine operations is an advantage)
