We’re currently recruiting for a well-established client based in the Bury St Edmunds area to join their manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a knowledgeable team with long term career prospects, training and development opportunities.

Previous experience of working within a fast-paced plant, working to targets and tight deadlines as part of a team, would be an advantage but not required.

Working hours will be based on a Panama shift pattern, based on average of 42 hours per week, rotating between 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00.

Daily Duties

• Follow production plans and meet set targets and deadlines
• Operating machines to ensure they are running at optimal efficiency
• Identify and troubleshoot minor faults on machines
• Liaising with engineers when required to ensure the machines are running correctly
• Carry out routine maintenance on machines
• Complete paperwork throughout the shift to ensure the data is recorded correctly
• Working as part of a team
• Following all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures correctly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
