Production Operative - Finishing Department

Our client is a local manufacturer and supplier of printing and personalised items. They are currently looking for a Production Operative to join their hardworking and dedicated team on a temporary basis in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a production role, possess a good hand eye coordination and a good attention to detail, as well as be physically fit due to the role involving heavy lifting. As a Production Operative you will be operating various finishing machines and undertaking product assembly processes including pad printing, greeting card creasing and wire bond notepads. You will also quality check products and pick/pack orders.

The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Demonstrable experience within a production role
• Possess a good hand eye coordination and a good attention to detail
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be physically fit due to the role including heavy lifting

Your duties as a Production Operative will include:

• Operating various finishing machines
• Undertaking product assembly processes
• Quality checking
• Picking and packing orders

Salary:

£12.21 per hour

Hours:

• Mon – Thurs, 8.15am – 5pm and Friday, 8.15am – 3.45pm
• Temporary
