Job Description - Production Operative Night Shift

Pertemps Dudley are recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client based in the Cradley Heath area to work their night shift. The successful candidate will have a focus on material inspection. In this entry level role, you will receive comprehensive training to become proficient in testing techniques, to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in a structured training program to develop expertise in inspecting techniques
Assist in conducting inspections on various components
Record and analyse test results
Adhere to strict safety protocols
Help maintain and calibrate equipment

Required skills and experience:

A strong interest in technology and quality control
Good understanding of basic mathematics
Excellent attention to detail
Willingness to learn and grow

Hours of work:

8am-4pm Monday to Friday whilst in training
10pm-6am Sunday to Thursday once trained

Rate of pay:

£12.21 per hour whilst in training
17% shift allowance for night shifts
