Production Operator Machinist

We are seeking a diligent and technically skilled Production Operator (Machinist) to join an established production team at a manufacturing business near Huddersfield.

The client is a large organisation based near Huddersfield, who are specialise manufacturers. They are an International brand and have a strong presence at their manufacturing facility on the Wakefield / Huddersfield border. They are well known for their commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Description

As a Production Operator (Machinist) you will:

• Operate machinery and equipment according to prescribed procedures.
• Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on machinery.
• Ensure production quotas are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Profile

The successful Production Operator (Machinist) should have:

• Worked in a similar position within a manufacturing organisation.
• Technical skills and proficiency with machinery operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
