Production Scheduler

Reed Recruitment is partnering with Transport for London to find a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Scheduler. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining weekly production schedules, ensuring that all customer material requirements are met in collaboration with Production Managers and Chargehands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of weekly production schedules.
• Ensure accurate feedback to Fleet Planners and Store Persons for smooth maintenance activities.
• Produce performance reports and updates using MS Word or Excel.
• Handle customer inquiries related to Railway Engineering Workshops operations.
• Input data from shop floor time sheets into the SAP Manufacturing System.
• Provide administrative support to the SAP Manufacturing System, including raising Sales Orders and Production Work Orders.
• Print production documents and update visualization boards for daily meetings.
• Monitor customer stock levels to prevent nil stocks and impact on train availability.
• Download and manipulate Customer Order book data from the SAP Manufacturing System.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Competent IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP Manufacturing Solution.
• Strong communication, liaison, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Good numerical reasoning skills.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn.
• Basic awareness of Health and Safety in a production environment.
