Programme Director - Local Authority

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Programme Director on a Contract basis.

This role will drive and support the establishment of a Mayoral Combined County Authority (MCCA).

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan for the creation of the MCCA.
• Coordinate activities across the three upper-tier authorities to ensure alignment and progress.
• Develop governance structures and processes for the transition period and the new authority.
• Prepare reports and documentation for the Devolution Joint Committee and supporting infrastructure.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Local Government experience is essential.
• Extensive experience in programme management.
• Effective financial and budget management skills
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and sustained relationships

What's on offer:

• Salary: £800-£900+ per day, Inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
