Progress Coach

We are seeking a dedicated Progress Coach to join our client's educational team in Swindon. This role involves taking responsibility for a cohort of learners through to the end of the academic year, providing tailored support and guidance to enhance their educational journey. The role may include working with SEND candidates, requiring the provision of life skills coaching alongside academic support.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee a specific cohort of learners, monitoring their progress and providing consistent support throughout the academic year.
• Develop and implement effective coaching strategies that cater to the individual needs of students, including those with SEND.
• Assist students in understanding and navigating specific aspects of the curriculum.
• Provide life skills coaching to enhance students' personal development and readiness for future challenges.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other educational professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Maintain detailed records of students' progress and adapt coaching techniques as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an educational or coaching role, preferably with exposure to SEND.
• Strong understanding of the educational needs of young people and how to address these in a coaching context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Proactive and dedicated to the development of learners.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
