Project Accountant

Mitchell Adam are partnering with an established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in their search for an Interim Project Accountant to join their Finance team. This critical role will support the manufacturing finance function by mapping the ERP process to the physical production flow and ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies.

In this role you will be responsible for partnering with all areas of the business, including Core Finance, FP&A and Operations to understand and map the end to end production flows and their interaction with the ERP system. You will be reconciling reports from multiple sources, creating Standard Operating Procedures with Operations and the wider Finance team as well as investigating variances to identify root causes of data inaccuracies.

Ideally, you will:

• Experience with data analysis and generic ERP systems, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Have Solid experience working financial systems and general accounting policies.
• Showcase the ability to map processes and clearly document procedures within a fast paced environment.
• Have Advanced Excel skills.
