Project and Risk Manager

We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a project manager to work in their markets business. This role is in the 1st line of defence and combines project management with risk oversight, ensuring client communication processes, controls and tools are implemented effectively to meet policy and regulatory expectation.

Key responsibilities:The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the implementation of enhanced controls, governance and tooling relating to structured communications created by the Global Markets sales and trading teams. The ideal candidate will bring experience in regulatory risk management, technology delivery and stakeholder coordination across complex global environments.

To be considered for this role you must posses the following skills/experience:

• Minimum 5 years working in a project management role in an investment bank or consultancy
• Good knowledge of Markets products and environments, and a working knowledge of current regulatory change
• Seasoned project management experience in complex situations
• Ability to navigate large / complex / diverse teams and projects
• Demonstrated history working in 1st line of defence
• Strong MS Excel capability, utilising large data sets to identify, drive and implement projects. Although the role is initially until the end of the year there is a high possibility of extension.

Although this role is for 6 months there is a high possibility it will extend past that. This role would be required to be in the office at least 3 days per week in Belfast. If you're interested in this role, please forward an up-to-date copy of your CV
