Project Assistant Accountant

This role requires a Project Assistant Accountant to provide support to the Accounting & Finance department of a prominent organisation based in Chesterfield.

Client Details

This is a medium sized organisation in the creative sector. They have a hybrid policy of 3 days in the office per week.

Description

• Initially assist with a credit control related project
• Move on to assist with accounts payable project
• Be involved in some financial analysis, and month end reporting
• A big variety of project based tasks working alongside the financial controller
• Be confident using Excel

Profile

A successful Project Assistant Accountant should have:

• A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and other relevant computer applications.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.

Job Offer

An hourly rate of approx £17-20 per hour + holiday (£35-40k)
