Project Engineer Civil Engineer - Wastewater

Project Engineer (Civil Engineer - Wastewater) | Thames Valley | Up to £60/hr | 6 Months Initially

A leading infrastructure client requires a Senior Project Engineer (Civil Engineer) on a 6-month secondment (with potential extension) to support wastewater pipeline projects in the Thames Valley area. Clean water infrastructure experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure contractors and consultants comply with project scope, asset standards, legislation, and CDM regulations.
• Support capital delivery under the intelligent client model, providing technical assurance and design sign-off.
• Manage multiple projects, mitigating risks to reduce programme and delivery costs.
• Oversee delivery, commissioning, and asset handover phases.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, Chartered or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years post-graduate experience, with 3+ years in water industry projects.
• Proven leadership and technical oversight experience.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater pipeline infrastructure preferred.

Rate: Up to £60 per hour.
