Project Manager - New Bypass Construction - Sizewell C

A leading civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of a new bypass road for the Sizewell C nuclear power plant. This is an opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure project that will accelerate the development of a vital energy source for the UK.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the new bypass construction project, ensuring its successful execution within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, coordinating activities with subcontractors, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, fostering collaborative relationships and addressing concerns.
• Oversee the implementation of strict safety protocols and procedures for all construction activities.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize potential delays or cost overruns.
• Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including reports, plans, and as-built drawings, providing comprehensive records of the project's progress and outcomes.

What We Need:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale highway or road construction projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique challenges and complexities of this field.
• A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to road construction.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results under pressure.
• A commitment to safety, with a proven track record of implementing and upholding the highest safety standards.
