Project Manager

The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) are seeking a passionate and ambitious Project Manager to join their SHIFT team on an interim 3 -month basis, focusing on enabling inclusive innovation in London's living testbed. This role is ideal for someone dedicated to understanding and addressing the complex challenges faced by diverse communities, and who is committed to fostering an environment where innovation thrives for the benefit of all.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Act as the primary point of contact for hosts of innovation trials at testbed sites, ensuring smooth coordination and successful implementation.
• Take ownership of the operational delivery of innovation trials, managing all aspects to adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and legal requirements.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including risk identification, partnership forging, and resource coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the planning and coordination of events related to the innovation programme, enhancing network engagement and reaching a broad audience.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate the delivery of SHIFT Innovation Trials across various themes such as Movement in Cities, Climate Adaptation in Cities, and Health in Cities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within innovation, technology, or urban development sectors.
• Knowledgeable in the operational aspects of running innovation trials, including logistics management and compliance with regulations.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, with the ability to implement appropriate safety measures and ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging a diverse range of stakeholders and facilitating effective partnerships.
• Creative problem-solving abilities, with a flexible and adaptable approach to managing complex challenges in innovation trials and testbed environments.
• Experience in event management, capable of organising and coordinating events that support innovation trials and projects.
