Project Manager - Cybersecurity

*** Cyber Security Project Manager - London Market Insurance - London or Birmingham locations - Hybrid Working - 6 month Contract with view to extend***

A leading London Market Insurance business based in the UK are looking to hire a Cyber Security Project Manager who has experience within the Insurance or financial services sector to come in and drive forward a new Cyber Security project though to delivery. This role will be focusing on Vulnerability Management & Assessment, and Remediation Processes within the project and you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery ensuring its success. The client is working from both a waterfall and Agile perspective and requires the candidate to be experienced in not only Cyber security but focusing on Secure builds and Configuration Management & Vulnerability Management.

The ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter and has strong experience working in an Wagile environments and is a seasoned project manager who has strong Cyber Security, Configuration Management & Vulnerability Management experience. You will need to come from either financial services or ideally insurance, along with being comfortable working with stakeholders, CISO and Programme Manager. You must also be familiar with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar such as Vulcan Cyber. You will also need to be familiar with industry frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, NIST Cybersecurity Framework or ISO27001.

Key Skills:

• STRONG Cyber security Project Management experience 10+ years' experience required
• Strong Insurance or wider financial services experience
• 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity and in the domains of (Secure Configuration Management, Secure Builds, Vulnerability Management & Assessment, and Remediation Processes - ****This is a must have****
• Strong Waterfall/Agile experience (Wagile)
• Experience working with steering committees, demand management, service transition, project plans, Project SteerCo
• Experience in Vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar or such as Vulcan Cyber
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures.

• Knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

• Strong stakeholder management skills
