Project Manager Legal Case Management system

A Project Manager is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extending). This is a hybrid position, 1-2 days per week on site (flexibility i.e. candidates further afield, remote can be considered with some office visits).

Our client is going out to tender for a new Legal Case Management system. They are looking for a Project Manager who has experience of implementing Legal Case Management systems, data migration and working in a Legal Services environment (ideally in a public sector environment).

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a Legal Case Management system, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
• Manage complex data migration projects with a focus on accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Legal Services to ensure the system meets operational and strategic needs.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Essential Experience:

• Proven track record in implementing Legal Case Management systems.
• Experience in data migration and system integration.
• Background in Legal Services or similar professional environments.
• Experience successfully managing change/transformation projects within an organisation is essential.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience working within a Local Government Authority or other public sector organisations.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and public sector procurement processes.
