Project Turnaround Manager - 6 month FTC

£42,000 Per Annum

Gilbert Meher have the privallege of representing a respected healthcare provider who are looking for a talented Care Manager to lead positive change and transformation for one of their small supported living services in Leytonstone, London.

The Role:

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will take ownership of operational delivery, quality improvements, staff leadership, and compliance at a supported living service looking after Adults with Learning Disabilities. You will act as a catalyst for positive change — turning around areas for development and embedding best practice at every level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding care provision
• Develop and embed a vision, values, and strategy for improvement
• Ensure CQC compliance and regulatory excellence
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing staff team
• Manage budgets, resources, and reporting effectively
• Review care plans and ensure all individual needs are met holistically
• Address service deficits with strategic action plans
• Champion a culture of learning, growth, and accountability
• Drive improvements in quality, safety, and service outcomes
• Build strong relationships with external partners and regulators

Key Skills

• Proven leadership experience in care settings
• Sound understanding of CQC frameworks, safeguarding, and risk management
• A successful track record in service improvement and change management
• Strong people management, mentoring, and coaching skills
• Relevant qualifications and CQC registration
• High-level communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
