Location: Hybrid - 2 Days per Week in Office (City of Westminster or Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea)
Contract: 3+ Months (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: £42 per hour (Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Property Lawyer to join a well-established legal team serving a prestigious London borough. This is an initial 3+ month contract with strong potential for extension, offering a competitive hourly rate and hybrid working.

You'll be expected to work 2 days per week in the office, based in either the City of Westminster or the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with the remainder of the week worked remotely.

• Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, rights of way, and property development issues

• Draft, negotiate, and review legal documentation related to land and property transactions

• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, regulatory, and local authority requirements

• Collaborate closely with internal departments, external solicitors, and key stakeholders

• Effectively manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with strong property law experience

• Solid understanding of commercial and/or public sector property transactions

• Experience working with or within local authorities is highly desirable

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid environment and deliver results under pressure
