Job Description - Property Officer

Property/Asset Officer
  • Location: Stirling
  • Salary: £40,635 - £44,619, Equivalent Per Hour
  • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

We are currently recruiting for a distinguished Registered Social Landlord and charity based in Stirling. They are seeking a Temporary Property/Asset Officer to ensure the effective operational delivery of high-quality asset management services. This role is pivotal in maintaining the organisation's commitment to providing value for money, exceptional quality, and high levels of tenant satisfaction through the management of day-to-day reactive repairs, cyclical maintenance, and planned maintenance. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day reactive repairs, cyclical maintenance, and planned maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with the housing management team to effectively manage voids and estate management.
  • Proactively engage with tenants to provide advice and assistance, ensuring homes are well-maintained and tenancies are sustained.
  • Support the Corporate Services team and the Officer for Repairs and Compliance to deliver first-class service to tenants.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Participate strategically in the delivery of quality affordable homes through development activities.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant technical qualification in a building or maintenance discipline.
  • Extensive experience in asset and property management within a housing context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of asset management activities in line with legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in ICT and housing management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Must have a full current driving licence and access to a car for business use.
