Job Description - Purchase Ledger Administrator

Location: Ferrymoor Way, Barnsley

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (37.5 hours/week)

Pay Rate:£12.56 per hour, paid weekly.

Contract: 1 month initially, potential for extension (agency role)

Benefits: Free parking

About the Role

We're seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a busy finance team. You'll be responsible for accurate accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, preparing weekly BACS payment runs using Sage, and handling supplier queries and reconciliations. You'll also assist with month-end processes and general office tasks.

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts department.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 Accounts.
  • A friendly, tactful, and team-oriented approach.
