Job Description - Purchase Ledger Assistant FTC

Grafton Banks Finance is currently partnering with a well-established client based in Bexhill who is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who is available at short notice and keen to contribute to a busy finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process a high volume of supplier invoices in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
  • Support with finance administration and project tasks.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Available on short notice
