English Teacher - Alum Rock Area
Location: Alum Rock, Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term (Until July 2026, with potential for permanent placement)

A secondary school in the Alum Rock area is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position for the full academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that support progress for all learners
- Monitor and assess student performance effectively
- Contribute to departmental planning and school improvement initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

- QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
- A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring a love of English
