Job Title: Performing Arts / Drama Teacher (QTS - Full-Time, Long-Term Temporary)

Are you a creative and passionate Drama or Performing Arts teacher with QTS?
We're working with a forward-thinking high school in Nelson that is looking to appoint an engaging and dynamic QTS Performing Arts / Drama Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 through a rich and varied Performing Arts curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Drama and Performing Arts

  • Encouraging creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students

  • Leading practical workshops, productions, and performance assessments

  • Differentiating lessons to support all learners, including those with SEND

  • Contributing to the wider creative life of the school through clubs and school shows

The Ideal Candidate:

? QTS with a specialism in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject - Essential
? Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
? Strong classroom presence with excellent behaviour management
? Passionate about the arts and student development
? Able to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
