Religious Studies Teacher - Full-Time - Burton-on-Trent

Aspire People are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Burton-on-Trent to recruit a dedicated and qualified Religious Studies Teacher. This is a full-time position, covering a staff absence for approximately four months, starting in November 2025.

Key details:

* Pay: £180-£220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
* Start date: November 2025
* Duration: 4 months (staff absence cover)
* Contract type: Full-time, 5 days per week
* Location: Burton-on-Trent

Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
* Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet the needs of all pupils
* Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
* Maintain good classroom management and a positive learning environment

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
