Qualified Children Social Worker for CWD

• Work closely with children with disabilities and their families to fully understand their unique needs, strengths and circumstances

• Develop personalised support plans that promote safety, inclusion, independence and quality of life

• Act promptly to address safeguarding issues, ensuring children are protected and supported appropriately

• Collaborate with education, health, and specialist services to coordinate care and maximise outcomes

• Make sure the child's voice, communication style and preferences shape all aspects of planning and support

• Regularly review support to ensure it remains responsive to changing needs, development and family situations

• Uphold legal duties and apply best practice when supporting children with disabilities and their families

Requirements:

• 2 years experience post qualification
• Action safeguarding procedures
