Your new role
We are currently seeking experienced Social Workers to join the Safeguarding Team. This is a varied and rewarding role involving Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and courtwork. You'll be responsible for managing a caseload that reflects your experience and capacity, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families. This is a full-time role with hybrid working, and you'll be expected in the office two days per week, with additional frontline duty 1-2 days every five weeks during your duty week.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:

• A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
• Recent experience in CIN, CP, and Court proceedings (we are open to candidates with experience in one or two of these areas)
• A strong understanding of the Children Act and relevant safeguarding legislation
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a car
• An Enhanced DBS
