Qualified Social Worker, Looked after children

I’m currently seeking a qualified Social Worker who is required to join a looked after children’s team within Merseyside.

You will be working on a busy yet supportive team with regular supervision from your manager. You will be expected to manage a diverse caseload effectively and be able to deliver positive change to children and their families.

You will be expected to be office based three days per week.

As a qualified Social Worker will have experience of:
• Liaising with other professionals
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Working with children on the Child Protection Register, Looked after Children and Duty and Assessment
• Attending and giving evidence in court
• Working within busy authorities and able to manage a caseload effectively
• Working in a multi-agency setting

As a qualified Social Worker you MUST be:
• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
