Job Description - Quality Assurance Officer

Are you an experienced professional in Quality or Compliance looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team.

Start date ASAP:
Duration: 3 months possible extension
Salary: £35,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 per week
Hybrid Working: 1–2 days in the office (Galashiels) - will consider fully remote candidates

Key Responsibilities:

Support project management meetings to stay informed on product quality & compliance.
Assist with Quality Management Systems (QMS) processes
Review batch records for imported products and complete RPi release steps for UK/GB distribution.
Manage Quality Systems such as Documentation Control, Change Control, Auditing, and Training.
Participate in internal audits (self-inspections), identifying and addressing any compliance gaps.
Deliver GxP and SOP training to ensure adherence to procedures.

Experience in Quality or Compliance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently & within a team
Experience with Quality Systems
Excellent communication and attention to detail
