Quality Control - Analytical Chemist

This Brigg Scientific client is an established speciality chemicals manufacturer based in the north-west. They are looking for a number of QC Analytical Chemists to provide support for a newly commissioned manufacturing line. Providing 7 day a week cover on a rota they will be testing the quality of incoming, in process and final products.

Your background will include:

• Wet chemistry bench analysis
• Physical testing
• Electrical property testing
• Some HPLC
• Colour testing and spectroscopy

Ideally you will have some analytical experience from a hands-on industrial background, and possess excellent communication and IT skills. Experience of ester based insulation oils would be a district advantage.

The role is offered as an initial 6 month contract with an immediate start. Providing 7 day cover the salary will be between £27-30k. There is the potential to gain a permanent role.
