Job Description - Radiographer

Radiographer
Location: Sheffield, BAE Systems
Duration: 6 months
Rates: £30 PAYE or £40.33 Umbrella
Working Arrangements: working week over 4 days

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

PCN Level 2 Radiography (RT) in Welds
NC or HNC in an appropriate technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
PCN Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) or Advanced Radiation Safety certification
Experience with NDT of metallic structures, particularly welds
Strong understanding of IRR 2017 and product safety standards

Desirable:

PCN Level 2 in Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)
CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level 2 in Welding Inspection
Background in a skilled trade discipline

Skills:

Interpretation of weld defects via radiographic and NDT techniques
Ability to write and interpret radiographic techniques and inspection reports
Effective stakeholder engagement and communication
