About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school that values the importance of Religious Education in helping students explore diverse perspectives, moral issues, and cultural understanding. The successful candidate will teach RE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of KS5 for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons

• Plan, mark, and assess in line with national curriculum requirements

• Encourage critical thinking and respectful debate in the classroom

• Monitor student progress and contribute to departmental improvement

• Support the wider school ethos and participate in professional development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education or related humanities subject

• Experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

• A genuine passion for exploring ethical, philosophical, and cultural topics

• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
