A highly regarded primary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their dynamic Early Years team from September 2025.

The Role:

• Position: Reception TA
• Start Date: September 2025
• Location: Camden - excellent public transport connections
• Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
• Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Reception TA Requirements:

• Ideally has previous experience, Level 3 NVQ, or is a graduate with a strong interest in early years education.
• A team player who is confident, enthusiastic, and eager to support children in their learning journey.
• Passionate about nurturing young children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Comfortable working under the guidance of an experienced EYFS Team Leader, contributing to lesson delivery, play, and care routines.

Reception TA Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of creative and stimulating learning activities.
• Supporting children's development across the EYFS framework.
• Contributing to classroom setup, organisation, and the preparation of engaging resources.
• Leading or assisting with specific curriculum areas, as agreed with the team leader.
• Supervising playtimes, snack times, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress in collaboration with teaching staff.
• Building strong relationships with children, staff, and families to create a warm and inclusive environment.
