Job Opportunity: Temporary Reception Cover – Kidlington

Location: Kidlington, Oxford

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Type: Ad-hoc / Temporary Cover

Are you friendly, professional, and confident in a customer-facing role? We’re looking for a reliable and welcoming individual to provide ad-hoc reception cover at a dealership in Kidlington.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers with a warm smile and ensure they feel comfortable upon arrival.
• Manage the front reception desk and act as the first point of contact for visitors and customers.
• Answer and direct calls via the main switchboard in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting area.
• Ensure the coffee machine is clean, stocked, and available for customer use.
• Liaise with service and sales teams to ensure smooth customer handovers and appointment check-ins.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous reception or front-of-house experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis, sometimes at short notice.

Dates you must be available to work:

• June 12th – 9am – 1pm
• June 16th – 19th – 8am to 1pm
• July 21st – 24th – 8am to 1pm
• Aug 11th – 15th - 1pm – 6pm
• Aug 18th – 8am – 1pm
• Aug 21st – 8am – 1pm
• Aug 26th – 29th – 8am – 6pm (1 hour break for lunch)
