Reconciliation Analyst

Role: Reconciliation Analyst
Rate: £500 p/d Outside IR35
Location: Central London HQ - Hybrid Model - 2 days p/w on site
Duration: Initial 2 months - extensions highly likely

We are looking for a Reconciliation Analyst to help with a migration from Oracle Hyperion to OneStream. You will need to be ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified Accountant with experience of data reconciliations to be suitable for this role.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in financial data migration and reconciliation
• ACCA, ACA, CA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified Accountant
• Experience with OneStream or Oracle Hyperion Financial Management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of financial consolidation processes and principles.
• Proficiency in creating and utilizing VBA macros for data manipulation and automation within Excel.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create and utilize advanced formulae.
• Experience with data analysis and the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.

Responsibilities:

• Data Migration and Reconciliation: Lead and execute the migration and reconciliation of financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies identified.
• OneStream Configuration: Design, create, and maintain OneStream mapping/transformation rules and metadata/dimension members to facilitate accurate data migration and address data quality issues.
• OneStream Application Analysis: Analyse existing OneStream application rules to understand data calculation logic and propose necessary changes or enhancements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• OneStream Process Development: Create and implement steps within OneStream workflows to optimize data processing and reporting.
• Automation and Efficiency: Develop and implement VBA macros to automate data migration and reconciliation activities, including the transformation of legacy system journals into OneStream-compatible formats.
• Reporting and Analysis: Create OneStream Excel add-in formulae to efficiently extract and analyse data from OneStream for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
