Recovery Practitioner

Job Role: Recovery Practitioner
Location: Barnet
Rate: £23 P/H LTD Umbrella (£20.33 PAYE INC)

Role Overview:
- Support service users through treatment and recovery journey
- Conduct screening, assessment, and recovery planning
- Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm in the community
- Promote social reintegration and meaningful lives
- Advocate for access to partnership services
- Facilitate structured group content for service users
- Tailor workshops on topics like anger management, relationships, etc.

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of substance misuse issues
- Experience in group/pod facilitation and conflict management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive with good IT skills
- Knowledge of mental health interventions and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse professionals and stakeholders
- Commitment to information governance and continuous learning
