Redevelopment and Regeneration Manager

Tripod Partners are looking for a Redevelopment and Regeneration Manager to join Brentwood Borough Council, supporting both Brentwood Borough and Rochford District Councils. This senior role involves leading strategic redevelopment and regeneration projects, with a focus on housing, infrastructure, and place-shaping. The position offers flexible working, with 2-3 days from home if suitable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage major redevelopment and regeneration programmes across the boroughs.

• Coordinate cross-departmental teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects.

• Oversee project planning, procurement, delivery, and budget management.

• Develop strategic frameworks and business cases aligned with council priorities.

• Report to senior leadership and elected members on project progress and risk management.

• Drive regeneration outcomes that support economic growth, housing delivery, and community wellbeing.

Position Details:
Location: Brentwood and Rochford (Hybrid: 2-3 days from home)
Duration: 9 months
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £500 per day
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

• Proven experience in delivering regeneration and redevelopment programmes within a local authority setting.

• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver complex initiatives from concept to completion.

• Knowledge of planning, housing, economic development, and funding streams.

• Ability to work independently and lead multi-disciplinary teams.

• Right to work in the UK.
