Key Responsibilities

• Operate refuse collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner across residential and commercial routes.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure operational readiness.
• Lift and empty bins into collection vehicles, ensuring proper handling and minimal spillage.
• Communicate clearly with team members and members of the public regarding routes, schedules, and any collection issues.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the public.
• Keep vehicles clean and tidy after each shift to maintain hygiene and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable to assist with minor vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the workday.
• Good physical fitness to handle outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Day shift
