The Role

As an RE Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver stimulating lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, including GCSE Religious Studies
• Foster critical thinking and respect for diverse beliefs and cultures
• Use varied teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Encourage student participation in debates, discussions, and related extracurricular activities

Person Specification / Requirements

To be successful, you will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Religious Education in a UK secondary school
• Be confident delivering GCSE Religious Studies content
• Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history where possible
