Reporting Actuary

Our L+P client is looking for a highly skilled Reporting Actuary to join their team for a 4 months initial contract.

• Produce and validate actuarial results for IFRS 17 or Solvency II reporting cycles.
• Support financial reporting, valuation, and capital management activities.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models using tools such as Prophet, RAFM, or equivalent.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and wider business teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
• Contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation standards.
• Provide technical analysis and clear commentary to support business decision‑making.

• Qualified Actuary
• Strong background in life insurance actuarial work (e.g., valuation, reporting, modelling).
• Practical experience with IFRS 17 and/or Solvency II regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in actuarial modelling software and Excel; programming skills (e.g., Python, R, VBA) beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities.
