Job Description - Credit Controller - Temporary

Senior Credit Controller – Temporary - £170 - £200 per day

Location: NW London
Salary: £170 - £200 per day
Hybrid: 5 days office-based

About the Company
We’re supporting a well-known name in the luxury services sector as they look to bring in an experienced Senior Credit Controller to assist during a peak period on an interim basis for an initial 1-2 month period with a view to extend. This is a fully office-based role requiring someone who can hit the ground running with full training on internal systems provided.

Responsibilities – Senior Credit Controller

Proactively chase outstanding debt in line with company credit policy
Monitor overdue accounts and place them on hold when necessary
Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally
Act as the main point of contact for credit-related issues
Complete weekly cash forecast reports and monthly statement runs
Report key updates during credit control meetings
Distribute weekly corporate account reports
Maintain accurate ledgers, tidy zero balance accounts, and ensure accurate offsets
Open new credit accounts and process credit limit increases
Record queries and archive documents in a timely manner
Process Stripe recurring payments and reconcile cash books
Assist with litigation decisions and month-end ledger close
Support the Group Credit Control Manager with ad hoc project work
Help manage delinquent storage accounts and action out-of-store statements

Key Skills & Experience

5+ years’ experience in end-to-end credit control
Proven track record in reducing aged debt (90+ days)
Experience managing large customer ledgers (600-800+ accounts)
Advanced Excel skills – VLOOKUPs, PivotTables (essential)
Experience with in-house systems
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging at all levels
Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Able to prioritise and thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment
