Job Description - Customer Service Agent

Customer Support Agent

  • Hourly Rate: £13.19ph
  • Location: Remote
  • Job Type: Temporary, ongoing
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

My client who is a leading provider of mental health services in the UK, is looking for Customer Support Agents. This role is crucial as you will be the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking help, often during challenging times. We are looking for empathetic, resilient, and self-motivated individuals who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Full training will be provided, and an immediate start is available.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide frontline support to patients, carers, and professionals via telephone, email, and live chat.
  • Handle enquiries with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency, even during busy periods.
  • Book appointments and coordinate care in line with clinical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in our systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Recognise and appropriately escalate safeguarding concerns or service disruptions.
  • Provide accurate and clear service information in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Ability to remain composed and compassionate under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using databases and managing confidential information responsibly.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of mental health or healthcare environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and sensitive issue handling.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be happy to undergo a DBS check.
