German-Speaking Social Media Manager

Location: London (Hybrid) / Germany

Contract: 6-Month FTC or 1 month rolling contract (Day Rate)

Salary: €55,000 / £375 a day.

Role

- Oversee and manage multiple client social media channels across a variety of industries.

- Craft compelling and adaptable copy tailored for social platforms, ensuring content is published seamlessly across relevant channels.

- Foster and maintain conversations with online communities, engaging audiences through timely and responsive community management.

- Coordinate the planning and execution of editorial calendars and creative campaigns.

- Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop and brief engaging, social-first content for organic activations.

- Build and nurture strong client relationships while identifying potential opportunities for business growth.

- Bring strategic insight, creative flair, and commercial awareness to shape innovative plans-staying culturally informed and pushing boundaries for both the team and clients.

- Stay ahead of emerging social media tools, platform updates, and industry trends, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation.

- Provide clients with comprehensive reports, performance analyses, and insights on market trends.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in social media, digital, or integrated marketing within an agency setting.

- Deep understanding of social media trends, platform features, and best practices.

- Experience across both B2B and B2C sectors is highly desirable.

- Proficient in leveraging social algorithms to enhance content production and distribution.

- Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders.

- Skilled in developing social media strategies that align with broader marketing objectives.

- Exceptional writing ability, particularly for social copy and editorial, with fluency in both German (native level) and English.

- Familiarity with social media management platforms for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.

- Positive, proactive mindset with a self-motivated approach to work.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience with influencer marketing programmes and paid social campaigns is advantageous.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
