Interim Financial Accountant

An Interim Financial Accountant is sought for an initial temporary role for a thriving technology company based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be a key part of the accounting and finance team, assisting with financial reporting and analysis. Initially a 4 month contract with view to extend and potentially long term.

Description

• Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Performing financial analysis to support decision making
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Working collaboratively with the accounting and finance team
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
• Supporting external audit processes
• Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects as required

Profile

A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
