Contract Job Opportunity – PowerShell Developer (Ticketing Automation)
Remote (UK-Based) | ? 6 Months | Outside IR35

An IT MSP are on the lookout for an experienced PowerShell Developer to join us on a 6-month remote contract to support an exciting ticketing automation project. This role is Outside IR35 and offers the opportunity to work with a small, agile team modernising IT operations.

• Develop, test, and deploy PowerShell scripts to automate and streamline ticketing workflows.

• Integrate various platforms and services, including PRTG, Halo, and Datto.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and implement automation processes across the service desk.

• Create documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Troubleshoot and resolve scripting issues to ensure seamless integration and automation.

• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting (automation, custom modules, error handling, logging).

• Hands-on experience with:

  • PRTG Network Monitor – API integration, alert automation

  • Halo PSA – Ticket lifecycle automation, webhook configuration

  • Datto RMM – Scripting tasks, API integrations

• Solid understanding of ITSM and service desk operations.

• Comfortable working independently and proactively in a remote environment.

• Duration: 6 months (potential extension)

• Location: Fully Remote (UK applicants only)

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
