Job Title: Production Operative
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour rotating shifts)
Pay Rates:

• Day Shift (6:00am – 6:00pm): £12.44 per hour
• Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:00am): £13.44 per hour

Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary:

We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client – a well-established food production company. You’ll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to key parts of the production line including machine operation, packing, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery
• Supply machines with raw materials and packaging
• Complete recipe and product changeovers
• Maintain hygiene standards and clean using approved chemicals
• Handle and dispose of waste materials safely
• Stack finished goods on pallets using appropriate equipment
• Record production data accurately
• React promptly to line stoppages or equipment faults

Requirements:

Essential:

• Positive, reliable attitude
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
• Good attention to detail
• Basic IT/data entry skills
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Flexibility across shift patterns and tasks

Desirable:

• Previous experience in food production or FMCG
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene in high-risk environments
