Senior Backend .NET Developer (Umbraco, C#, Azure) - Remote - £380/day - Outside IR35

We’re working with a digital agency on the lookout for a seasoned Backend .NET Developer who knows their way around Umbraco, C#, and Azure. You’ll be joining a collaborative team delivering high-impact digital projects with a focus on clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture.

This is a remote-first role (90% WFH), scoped outside IR35, paying £380 per day.

• Contract: 3+ months (with potential extension)

• Location: Remote (UK-based)

• Rate: £380/day

• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

• Start Date: ASAP

• Leading backend development on digital builds, primarily focused on Umbraco CMS

• Building and maintaining clean, scalable APIs and backend services in C#/.NET

• Integrating with Azure Functions and managing cloud-based infrastructure

• Working closely with frontend, UX, and delivery teams to ensure seamless delivery

• Championing best practices and mentoring junior developers when needed

• Solid commercial experience with Umbraco CMS (v8+ ideally)

• Strong C#/.NET backend dev skills (including MVC, Entity Framework)

• Comfortable working with Azure Functions and cloud-hosted applications

• Experience designing, consuming and documenting RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
