Solution Architect Investment Management

We are supporting a leading global Investment Manager undergoing a major enterprise transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large-scale strategic change initiative.

This is a highly business-facing architecture role requiring someone who can bridge front and middle office investment platforms, enterprise data architecture, and transformation delivery. The focus is less on low-level technical architecture and more around logical architecture, data flows, operating models, sequencing, and solution design across complex investment management environments.

The successful candidate will be able to challenge architecture decisions, understand how platforms and data ecosystems fit together end-to-end, and help shape pragmatic target and interim state solutions across a global transformation programme.

1. Define and shape logical solution architecture across front and middle office investment platforms
2. Analyse and map complex end-to-end data flows across multiple systems and business domains
3. Challenge existing architectural approaches and propose pragmatic alternative solutions
4. Design interim and target state architectures as part of phased transformation delivery
5. Work closely with business, technology, data and programme stakeholders globally
6. Support sequencing, dependency management and implementation planning across multiple workstreams
7. Ensure consistency of architecture, data lineage and integration approaches across the programme
8. Translate complex business and operational requirements into scalable solution designs
9. Assess impacts across investment platforms, operational workflows and enterprise data models
10. Support governance, architecture reviews and strategic decision-making

1. Strong Solution Architecture experience within Asset / Investment Management, Wealth Management, Pensions or Financial Services
2. Excellent understanding of front office and middle office investment platforms and operating models
3. Strong experience with enterprise data architecture, data lineage and integration landscapes
4. Ability to trace data flows end-to-end across complex ecosystems
5. Experience working on large-scale transformation or platform modernisation programmes
6. Strong understanding of sequencing, transitional states and phased implementation approaches
7. Comfortable challenging architecture and delivery teams from a logical and business architecture perspective
8. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
9. Experience working across global programmes and distributed teams
